Going rate for pack howitzer

Post by Sikorsky502 » Sat Dec 10, 2022 11:22 am

Just curious as to what the current going rate is for a 75mm pack howitzer or project one. This has always been my favorite howitzer. I attended military school and I was in charge of the schools Pack and shot it everyday, blanks of course.

Anywhere from 15k to apparently 100k based on the one that sold at Morphys. Do you want shooting or something to tow behind your jeep? Value of a demilled project gun with cut barrel and ring will fall in that 15k range. Good barrel plus 10k, good ring plus 10k, restored plus 10k, shooting plus 10k. Now throw in accessories it it keeps going. Sure you will find extremes on both ends of the spectrum but above is a good start

There was one recently on here for $65.

I haven’t seen anything offered publicly cheaper than that in a very long time. If I found a blank fire gun in the 15k range I’d buy it.

Parts are very hard to find. You'll find extra barrels, but the smaller parts just rarely show up for sale. Getting into the pneumatic/hydraulic recoil is not too complex, but again there are no parts. There's a few of us shooting the gun and if you need info there's help.
