Help with identifying barrels
New to the forum but not to firearms. I recently acquired 3 barrels dated 1945. 2-37mm and a 25mm still in the crate. I believe they were purchased at knob creek over 30 years ago. I've tried to attach a picture but the file is too large. All 3 have conical ends and recoil springs. Any markings I should look out for?

Re: Help with identifying barrels
Are they just barrels or do they also have the Breech end on them. Email the pictures to yourself, the email will give you an option to downsize your picture to yourself, then post that downsized pic.

If you’re uploading from an iphone when you select the photo on your phone at the bottom of the screen you will see the file size of the photo, click that, and there is another option bottom right to pick a smaller file size.

If there is a 25mm Puteaux barrel, I may be interested, depending on price and condition. Looks like this. Click on pic to get a bigger view.

I think I recognize those 37mm barrels.
They're for the russian 37mm AA bofors knockoff
The interrupted buttress threads on the breech end give it away

Re: Help with identifying barrels
I bought the 3 barrels from someone who had them for around 20 years. Just sold one 37mm tonight and have the other for sale at $1500. I'm going keep the 25mm

Re: Help with identifying barrels
Both 37mm barrels have been sold. I still have the 25mm new in the crate barrel assembly. I'm going to dig into it a little further as I found a warranty card in the crate. The 25 is a lot more intricate and uses locking lugs.
