105 MM Howitzer
Okay I know this is a long shot but I am looking for a 105 MM Howitzer to restore and display at our Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Rome, New York.
Thank you. Mark.

Re: 105 MM Howitzer
Normally to get historic military equipment for memorials for organized Veterans Organizations you would contact the Center for Military History. If your organization meets the criteria for receipt of a piece, CMH will direct Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM) to release the item on loan to the organization.
Normally you must have a concrete pad to display the item, guarantee to maintain the item in perpetuity, pay for shipping from depot, and have the means to secure the piece from theft. Artillery pieces are normally demilitarized on site - breech welded, traverse and elevation mechanisms disabled, and sometimes the trails are permanently welded open.
Hope this helps. Long time since I had to do this for tanks and cannons.

What was the asking price of the restored 105. I am just curious of the current price. Thanks in advance.
