This is about 44" long, approx 8" diameter.
The weird part is the threaded holes on the side. I'm wondering if it is even an artillery round? Has multiple small holes on bottom edge, with threads.
Let me know your thoughts

It is a stripped Mk81 250-lb bomb body. Threaded holes on sides are for suspension lugs. Threaded hole on front is for fuze adapter. Ring on rear is for attaching various fin assemblies (conical slick, retarder, paveway, etc). Would be interested in buying, if you're interested in selling.

Well, THANK YOU! Nice work on the ID. I was wondering if the side mounts were for aircraft, but I couldn't believe it, as this thing is so dang heavy.
Sorry my friend, not really for sale. I have a store that is like a museum, I put the cool stuff on display.
I would possibly be willing to trade for something cool
OR
I would like to buy fins and a nose cone. (I have lifting lugs)
Thanks!
