WWII Fiber Tubes - For Sale

Post by Quest Master » Sun May 30, 2021 9:16 am

After a year of R&D I am pleased to offer WWII Fiber Tubes for the 75mm Gun, 75mm Howitzer and 81mm Mortar. These tubes are made with original end caps - stenciled with correct factory lot numbers and accurate asphalt paper wrapped cardboard tubes (not just black paper), made to exact specifications. These are not just regular store-bought tubes that were used for wrapping paper or shipping. Each tube was carefully produced to original WWII blueprints and are fully functional, meaning the end caps come off and a full round can be placed inside for display. Nothing like this has been made since WWII - modern fiber tubes are different, and different sizes. Each tube comes with the correct yellow (high explosive) cloth adhesive backed sealing tapes - unattached, so you can leave them open or seal them closed for display (note, once attached the tape may damage the tube when you remove it - it is a sealing tape).
I am selling these: 3 for $105, plus shipping.
Types available: 75mm Gun M48 HE Shell (M4 Sherman Tank etc.) 75mm Howitzer M48 HE Shell (Airborne Howitzer) and 81mm Mortar M43A1 HE Shell (short tube) and 81mm Mortar M56 HE Shell (long tube).
I will be selling these this coming weekend, June 4th to June 6th 2021, at the WWII Weekend, Mid-Atlantic Air Museum, Reading Pennsylvania if you want to buy them in person.
