They are rather difficult to locate. I have only had my hands on one HE and one practice AP projectile in the last five years. I have only secured one case. This ammunition is the not the same as for the Sherman and M18 Hellcat. The projectiles and cases are different. They were only used for the T-124 and the M41 tank. I will add that I am speculating about the T-124 since I have never seen the manual for the gun.

There are brass and steel ones. They go from 100-250 when you find them but seen them listed under 3 inch navy a few time. Most people looking for them know the neck or lack of.

The Walker Bulldog 76mm projo and cases, very, very hard to find. I have pictured a 75mm Skysweeper ( round base) and Bulldog. I have the cases also. Pricing: I was offered $400 plus for each one. Both stamped " SS" ( used by Ordnance men to signify inert " Safe Steel"). Posting for reference and info.

A footnote, I was told they came from the Yuma Ordnance Depot. In the 50's 60's they had a huge facility that did a huge amount of development testing. Not sure if they are in operation any longer, but an EOD man said their scrap yard was filled with huge amounts of what today is considered very rare "unobtainable " ordnance.

$400 something apiece for the complete rounds, that's a few years ago. I take it a complete Skysweeper and Bulldog are both considered very desired by collectors, I have not seen any for sale in 15 years. The other poster is correct in stating the Bulldog is commonly confused with the Navy 3"/50 or Army 3" ( a well marked Army M62A1 3" brings about $250-300 nowadays- and that's just what the projo brings-)....I saw a minty one a few days ago and the seller was asking $400....and he sold it! Ordnance collecting is finally attracting deep pocket collectors.

I have sold several complete M62A1 76mm AP rounds with brass M26 cases for $400 this year. That is the market rate for such an item.
