Canvas cover for the towed 37mm ATG
I finally found a WWII cover for the towed 37mm ATG. Problem, I can't get it to fit. The cover is marked "37mm M3A1" which I know is the barrel that was threaded for the muzzle break. The sleeve fits the barrel with a little extra for the muzzle break (which isn't on my M3 barrel). There are two small holes worn through where the canvas rubbed against the scope mount and the corner of the tool box. There are two rounded sections of canvas in the approximant location where the wheels are. In the position the cover is as shown in the pic I can't get the zippers to come together. It may be that it needs to be up on the segments.

Re: Canvas cover for the towed 37mm ATG
Ken,
That's a really interesting cover you have and a great find. I don't recall anything by that name in the manuals, only the M87 and M90 covers for the towed gun. I managed to buy an original M90 cover this year after only 40 years of looking for one.
The early covers used a leather cup for the muzzle with a jeweled reflector attached. The canvas portion had leather pads to protect the canvas from the armor shield, sight mount, and tool box and it looks like yours might have them as well.
I always assumed these covers were intended to be used while transporting or towing the guns so it would come as a surprise if the rounded areas were supposed to go over the tires. Perhaps the intention was to go between the tires and firing segments but it's doubtful there would be enough room. On the M90, there are flaps that go between the axle and the bottom of the shield and attach via snaps and D-rings to the larger rear bag portion that covers the breech and shoulder guard.
Here are a few photos of mine to show the general scheme of things.

No help for the dimensions but if you do find and get one built, make two or more. You can sell on this sight, I would buy one at least. Good luck with your project.

I was looking for those type shots as well, sidetracked by a Liberty Ship loadout with jeeps.
I too could use a gun cover for mine if someone started making them at a reasonable price.
