Re: Help needed TRICO windshield wiper.
My apologies! I presumed since you posted under Trucks 2-1/2 ton that we were talking about CCKW wiper motors. Is this what your wiper looked like assembled??

This tyle wiper is completely different then what I thought we were talking about. The first step ought to be determining which model of wiper motor you are trying to repair, so that you can buy the parts unique to it. These MIGHT work,, but best to figure out which wiper you have first.

Re: Help needed TRICO windshield wiper.
Today I disassembled it again to put white silicone gasket, check the ports(orientations) of the guides. My metal and fibre washer were inverted.I tested its vaccum putting in my tongue with spittle it is good.
Its pressure I think improved with silicone white gasket.I used sandpaper(nr 500) to clean the brass plungers.

Not yet.I only was surprised when the hand lever was to the right side and I pulled the control lever in the ON position and it moved freely to the rest. For now only that.Thanks.

Re: Help needed TRICO windshield wiper.
First try on E-Bay:Dear Fernando,
the kits I am listing are a bit different than your Trico ones, which also means my paddles -are same dimensions as your ones- but supported differently with the axles. You will have to find a way to fit my paddles with your axles.
Anyway, I have seen this transformation done successfully, with the Willys jeeps Trico motors, which look the same as your ones.
I suggest you buy a Trico boxsets pair from me, BUT I WILL ADD PLUS ALL THE PARTS YOU NEED, so in case you won't be able to fix your motor(s) with my plus added parts, you will be able at least to resell the Trico nice boxed pairs to someone else and so you won't lose your money if the try won't be successful.
How does this sound?
Kind regards.
Steve

Re: Help needed TRICO windshield wiper.
Hi retro-roco.The new parts I bought arrived yesterday.I changed out only spring, brass plungers, gaskets and felts. The guides remain the same.I ask if after reassembled the motor when I move the helper handle it stops in the left side and braid(?) lock the handle. Is it normal?

Re: Help needed TRICO windshield wiper.
I dont know the answer to that. My experience with Trico wipers is limited to KSB-404, KSB-425 and KSB-450 wipers. Sorry.

Re: Help needed TRICO windshield wiper.
I noticed that the other motor(the left side or the driver handside) the helper handle stays locked to the left.It only moves to the right when we open pulled(ON) the control knob.retro-roco wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 6:03 pmI dont know the answer to that.
