FS 1952 M211 chassis and parts PLUS!
1952 GMC 2-1/2T M211 truck in parts, Titled, all cab parts sandblasted and primed, rolling frame with transfercase and shafts. Look at photos of boxes of parts, windshield, hood, generator, dash, MANUALS, TITLE, etc.
A POSSIBLE 2nd complete M211 with 6 cyl 302 eng, trans, bed and trailer might move out of the area with this deal, (for free or scrap price owner of 1st truck will work for you…)
Owner (Tom) doesn’t have internet capability where he is now located, (yes some counties still do not have easy Internet) and asked me to post.
If interested PM me and I will pass his contact info to you.
Possibilities:
• Rebuild it (find engine, trans, bed) or mount things on the other truck…
• Use these blasted and primed parts to replace your M211 rusted out parts. (I could help scrap what you don’t want to take)
• Use or sell the axles, transfer to someone wanting a heavy-duty pair of off road axles.
• Bob it, put a V8 in it with a M105 trailer bed and have a really neat retro looking truck.
Location: Smithfield, Virginia, 23430
Owner can likely crane lift frame onto vehicle with his old Bucyrus tracked crane or his other large machines.
Price: Asking $1275.00

Around here you just can't hardly give away an M211. Its a shame as they can be very nice trucks but just totally unloved.
My last 2 I picked a few parts off of and ended up selling the rest to a guy that scrapped them. Hated to do it but ran out of room.

I hear ya, if it was reassembled and painted up with "Rambo Used This" it would sell quicker.
Have to be a truck lover for an M211, but there are those out there, hence my posting.
Never can tell what it will end up going for, the owner would very likely take less, but I cannot speak for him.

Owner asked me if there was any interest in all that stuff, manuals, sandblasted parts, etc. for $1000.
Let me know if there's any interest.

Ok, truck across the street is now on-site. All of it for $1350, if you have an M211 or M135, the blasted and primed sheet metal in this deal would save you the labor.
Photos at his Craigslist site
https://norfolk.craigslist.org/hvo/d/su ... 36770.html
Also I notice the rear hub length on the M135 seems to be longer by about an inch...everything else looks the same, is there a difference in axles? They cannot be the same length, something would have to give somewhere.

I really love these trucks and thats not a bad price.Ive had one and loved it..But they are the ugly dog of military trucks and unwanted, pretty sad They have great style and really look like a military truck should look. But as far as return on purchase,Its a labor of love. You'll never get your cost back.Kinda like the Dodge M880.Again Great truck just not wanted.

BTT
Owner has this for sale as last item he needs to move off property before selling the place.
You could always make him an offer or make a "Deal Deal"
Hate to see this scrapped, then someone comes on desperately looking for the parts two weeks after it happens.
