CCKW Battery Boxes new and question...

Post by RedArrow2016 » Thu Nov 08, 2018 5:41 pm

Does anyone need any CCKW Battery Boxes we have some that are brand new and I am putting this out there and tomorrow I plan on posting some images of them on the G, just got back from a really long trip to picking up even more parts. But I want to put this out there to see what anyone has to say and maybe what the average price would be for a battery box, and as far as the numbers go we do not have a count I know for sure that there is a few. But let me know either way here and thanks...

There are are different style battery set ups for the CCKW. Gotta have pics. Are what you have the covers, or are they the hangar? I have NOS Hangars,

Well I will have to get photographs up and I might due that tonight yet in a hour or so, just got back from a long trip picking up World War II parts and I know that there are some battery boxes that are new with the stickers on them yet from the factory they were made at. And I do have the top and bottom parts for them as well. But I have to get myself to getting down to the shed and getting the photos on here.

I might be interested in one. I could actually use a cover more than the box but understand if you only have complete sets.

I need the tray the battery sits in and not the cover. Maybe we can work something out.

What is the distance between the bolt holes of the cover, do the covers have a Masonite lining? I am interested.

I would be interested in battery boxes and covers. I just got my CCKWs and am learning that there are differences in what is correct for each version of the CCKW... ? Have you any pics of these boxes, and or knowledge of which trucks they are right for? Thanks-

Well that is a good question to what truck it fits, I thought that all CCKW battery boxes where the same, maybe not and I am always here willing to learn. I do have some yes a few left for sure. I have the some tops and some bottoms for you letting you know. But I will go look and see what is there is there a way you can tell me from the measurements which one you would be needing? Thanks and I will be in touch soon...

One last note I think some of them even have the G number on them yet or NSN actually if I remember right.
