GMC CCKW SHOP VAN RECOVERED FOR RESTORATION
Hello,
I recovered this GMC CCKW Shop Van for restoration.
Pretty decent shape, it is in Florida having been originally with the US Department of Reclamation, from California.
I have to get a building built to house it before getting it restored.
The engine has a rebuild tag on it from US Ordnance Base Depot 229 in Japan.
It is listing due to a flat tire !
I also rescued a spare shop van box that has all the missing interior parts for this one.
I like it and am excited about it !!

It has some rust issues along the bottom of both sides, but nothing too ugly at all !!!
This box was manufactured by Superior, the same company that makes all the school buses.

Re: GMC CCKW SHOP VAN RECOVERED FOR RESTORATION
Hello Mark,
Photobucket is photo garbage now !!!
They are done and gone.
Photo Gone
The new way is much bettter, by just attaching pictures now directly to the post here, on the G503.
I haven't done anything yet with this truck, but I did just order a glove box door button, a floor bracket for an M1 rifle mount on the passengers side to bolt the rifle and holder to the dash, and a few months ago, a G member made me exact reproduction marking stencils for new windshield glass.
I have to get a barn built high enough to get through the door with the high cube box
The truck is certainly on my restoration radar, and not forgotten !!
Best Regards,
Ray
