Your CCKW engine will idle the smoothest when the valves are in perfect adjustment. Close enough does not count, practice makes perfect.

Your CCKW will not let you do something foolish like show off your fancy gear shifting, anyone can grind gears. :wink: :wink

Still trying to find out the guy with the Multifuel M-35 at the Lowell shows who would attempt to speed shift himself into oblivion with his grand exit attempts to shift 5 speeds in 50 Ft. He usually missed a gear, should have been funny, but it really was not.
