Denman Tire company stopped production and the assets were sold to Titan Tire.
Because I started with my 1st CCKW 43 years ago, I bought Denman NDT tires as there were few 7.50x20 NDT makers.
Denman going out of business has created a problem for me. My favorite CCKW, my 1943 closed cab has Denman tires in the rear. If you own a WW2 US military truck with dual rearends, you must ensure that the tires that it rides on are matched else you will be creating a binding/fighting situation between the differentials and on the CCKW that will go all the way up thur the xfer case.
The Denman NDTs when new, were slightly smaller than the newer Firestone and possibly others.
I run the less worn Denman's on the outside and the more worn ones on the inside thus keeping the binding situation from happening.
No more new Denman's. from their molds can make it expensive to switch to another vendor with larger diameter tires.

Didn't Denman shut down way back in 2010 after declaring bankrupty?

Re: Denman Tires Sold to Titan
Hey guys,
Yeah, what a deal with our tires in regard to availability and price. I'm glad I've got a good running set and I make sure to keep the covers on them.
But I'm always (sometimes) on the look out and I found these! Don't worry, you won't have to land in Russia. Just Armenia. Nothing wrong with that. Seriously though, after reading your posts I started looking around. Saw these. If I saw them at a swap meet, I'd probably buy em. Not too bad looking (well, maybe they are
). Here's a screenshot.
I know. This is no help. Just yappin.

Re: Denman Tires Sold to Titan
I actually called Titan and looked into this a couple years ago. Titan received alot of tire molds from Denmann of which most molds were worn. Subsequently the military tire line molds were scrapped due to low demand. Or so I was told. Sad. They were nice tires.
