Chevy 1 1/2 canvas bed cover

I have a couple of NOS canvas M35A2 bed cover. Has anyone ever had one cut and shortened to fit a Chevy G506?
Or should I just buy a Chevy bed cover?...does any one want to trade bed covers?

Hi Frank. An old friend used a tarpaulin like what you have. It goes without saying that the M series bed is longer than a G-506 bed. The tie "up" straps don't line up with the bows and stanchions, but if You're looking to spend less money, why not use what You have. Right? You just have to find someone to cut the tarp to length and sew a drawstring hem in the end. I have a pair of M series end curtain that I will be using on my Chevy.
