‘58 ford f100

Post by Gray goose » Sun May 29, 2022 6:22 am

Hello I recently purchased a 58 ford f100 that used to be a naval service truck. It still has the service data plate on the fire wall and I’ve been taking it to some shows. I’ve tried reaching out to the local veteran museum to see about finding out information on it with no luck. I was wondering anyone here knew where I could go to find information on it like where it was stationed anywhere or even previous owners . Anything information would be great thank you in advance.

Hello, Gray Goose- welcome to the G503! Is there a chance that you could upload a few pics to this site- http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/uploadphoto.php

A picture is worth a thousand words- you should receive some definitive answers once we see what you got!

Hello,

Welcome to the G 503 !!

Your truck looks great, and well restored !

I guess you could add US Navy Markings to the door, but wold have to find out what they look like :D :D
Have you found any period pictures of this model truck in Military service ?

There must be some pictures out there !

Keep us posted, how about an engine pic and data plate pics, as it is always good to make a record here on the G for others that find a truck like yours.

Best Regards,
Ray
