Re: G506 Bomb Service Truck Found (7128)
Recovered two BST bomb hoists this week. Both have been extended/modified. I think I can repair one back to original:
I think this is the one that looks like the best candidate to put back to its original configuration:
Also, picked up an original winch I believe. At least it fits the plate on the hoists:
Still need the passenger seat and rear seat. Fenders as well. In looking at photos, the fenders really look very similar to Ben Hur trailer fenders. I have an extra set, so may figure that out if originals can not be located.

Zeph - too cool! Good luck finding the parts you need. I get lots of entertainment following your threads on the G, so hopefully this one appears here someday in the not so far future

Thank you. Yes, very happy to find them so close to me. Beats being 3,000 mile away!retro-roco wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 6:45 pmNice score on those hoist frames! Looking forward to following your progress.
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback. Trying to sew up a Ben Hur canvas cover now. I'll need to post some progress photos of that in the trailer section.twinflyer17 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 11:09 amZeph - too cool! Good luck finding the parts you need. Thank you. If another one pops up, I'll let you know. Always amazes me what's still out there.
