!! I need a courtesy urgently!
A courtesy! I’m away from my archives, but I was asked for pictures of ORIGINAL set up of carburetor/governor of a T-215 in a WC-21...
Could somebody help me?
Thank you!!

Re: !! I need a courtesy urgently!
This is a bit rough, but a shot from my original WC21 engine compartment. Maybe this could help?
I can get a shot of a restored T215 governor set up either using vacuum or mechanical distributor later when I get in the shop if that would be needed.

Re: !! I need a courtesy urgently!
This is the governor I used. Didn't get it from Joel. I have a couple of them. This is the way it was installed on a couple of original trucks I had. I think some folks say it's backwards. Seems to work fine for me. Vacuum advance distributor T-211:

Re: !! I need a courtesy urgently!
It runs to the vacuum advance mechanism on the distributor. I highlighted in red below:

Re: !! I need a courtesy urgently!
mmhmmmm... I have no vacuum advance on my T-215 engine...
and, on the outlet where you connected the tube to vacuum, I've written "CARB." ...
could you be so kind to tell me on every picture what is the threaded outlet for? ...I'm very confused...
thank you
maurizio
p.s this Governor is V65S-145

Re: !! I need a courtesy urgently!
The vacuum advance distributors were eliminated in the middle of the T211 series and replaced with the mechanical distributor. The T215 series trucks are all mechanical distributors. Therefore, there are no vacuum lines to the governor. The vacuum port is plugged at the inlet for the vacuum line. The governor is sandwiched between the carb and intake manifold. There are gaskets at the top and bottom of the governor mating surfaces, or course. That is all:pierino wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 11:10 pmmmhmmmm... I have no vacuum advance on my T-215 engine...

Re: !! I need a courtesy urgently!
Any port on the governor would be for vacuum. I would plug all ports or it'll be sucking air.

Re: !! I need a courtesy urgently!
Thanks! I also found that the vacuum port at the base of the carburetor needs to be plugged as well.
Here's the plug in my governor for my T215 series Dodge WC:
