G-506 Owners, Ten-Hut.

Post by D.R.H. » Fri Mar 05, 2021 8:59 pm

I finished repairing the rear Knee Action Shock Absorber Connecting Links today. I used 2 part Poly Urethane cold pour rubber to make new bushings, the original vulcanized rubber bushing were worn out beyond serviceable condition. I have a generous amount of the rubber kit left over so if any of the G-506 boys have the type of connecting links on your rear shocks that are worn out, I will repair them for you for free as long as my left over rubber will last. All you need to do is remove them from your truck, pay for round trip shipping and I'll do the rest.

Here are mine that I finished today. The bushings are very hard, the pins do rotate in the new bushed rubber, lateral pin movement is minimal at best.
