Hey Kirk,
Great work on the winch frame. The hardest part about doing a job like that is getting started, and maybe all grinding. Keep going, I want to see more!!!

Hi Jon, the backside of the channels were pretty easy to weld and also to grind. The inside of the channels was too wide for my grinder without getting into the flanges a lot. Instead I bought a narrow belt sander from harbor freight. Went through quite a few of the narrow belts, but really happy with how it turned out.

It looks rock solid after you got it welded back up.
