New to the "G"
I live near the original Mission BBQ in Glen Burnie MD. https://mission-bbq.com/
Normally the restaurants have M35s, but the original had this CUCV, was curious about it, like what it began life as and if its been modded
They also utilize step vans but pretty sure they don't have any military provenance

That CUCV looks like a communications shelter or perhaps even a front line ambulance (FLA).
Inside would be open with shelves & seats (como) or litter racks (FLA).
While the Army uses step vans, I’ve never seen one that large.

I need to go back to the Glen Burnie location and get pics of the second CUCV there. Looks like all the other locations use the M35 series
