1945 G506 Tow Truck

I finally got the wheels off (a good impact gun, and a little heat were a big help), and found I am needing new tie rod end sleeves, the gearbox is a bit sloppy, the link from the gearbox to the spindle moves a little bit, and it has a broken left front main leaf spring, tho all of the spring packs could use a re-arching. I still have yet to see what surprises are waiting for me underneath the drums. I received the Spindle Nut Kit I ordered from D.R.H., nice stuff there. I've been picking at tearing down the 5 speed, I did verify the gear ratios, and it spins good, so I'm hoping for a simple cleanup and re-seal there. It's good to see progress, even if it is just picking at the truck between other projects that take priority.

Thanks Dave, I'll have to look thru their store and see if there's anything else I need, then I can have it all shipped together.
