WC-14 blackout driving light question

Post by soccergorilla » Tue Jul 09, 2024 5:28 pm

The wc-14 drivers side headlight guard has the 2 holes on top of it for the secondary guard for the driving blackout light. Did WC-14's have this light or are the holes there to standardize production? Here is a link to the part I am talking about. Thanks....Sean.

The holes were drilled when the blackout light kit was installed in the field.
No 1/2 tons came from the factory with a blackout driving light

I’ve had one squirreled away for years.

Haven’t had the heart to install..

My grill does not have the holes.

That’s not what keeps me from installing.

What does make me hesitant to install is that it looks like it’s going to make opening that hood side difficult due to limited clearance the headlight guard will create.

Anyone who has one installed care to chime in regarding this?
Is it more difficult to open and latch the hood with it mounted?
