WC-64 parts wanted

Post by bourg4th » Thu Jul 15, 2021 4:31 pm

I bought a WC-64 KD Ambulance that was a explosives truck for many years. Most of the truck is still there but not the rear step assembly. I noticed today that a M-43 ambulance has what looks to be a the same or near same assembly for the missing steps. What else might interchange with WC-64 box parts? I know 64 parts are slim to none but all I want at this juncture is to get it to start, run, move, stop, and not embarrass me too much. Oh FYI, the corrugated cardboard in the walls is still in there, I'm pulling it out as I write. Looks like old chewing tobacco.

The rear step on the M-43 is virtually the same step. The one made by MWM is for the WC54, which is completely different from the WC64. Good luck with your rehab- very nice trucks. I own 4.5 of them.

You own 4.5 WC-64s? Where on the planet are you?

MWM had NOS M-43 rear step assemblies so I bought one and now on to what ever comes to mind.
