Diamond T, Hercules and a few CCKW Anthony dump Hoist FS

Post by gentrysgarage » Sun Feb 09, 2020 12:43 pm

I have come to the conclusion that I won't be using this Dump hoist so it is time to get it to someone who could. This hoist was used in the Diamond T, Hercules and a few CCKWs. Please make offers, part trades accepted, I have a G7123 and an M135 that could always use some nicer parts. Thanks

Didn't Anthony make beds for G-651 International M-5H-6 also?

Kinda pondering if that would be correct for a Corn Binder 2.5 ton truck...

Saw that there were Perfection/Hercules/Heil dump assembly's for 1.5 ton G506.

As for the G508/G509 I'm not too sav'vy on.

Does it have a data plate on it some where or is it a un-marked survivor?

Oh and hello too, it's been a while since I said hi.

How goes your projects?

HiYa Cody!

I was working on Clint's Torino for abit and didn't touch anything OD green until recently

The G7123 is still in need of a chassis and driveway space, don't know which one will be harder to get...but my bet is on drivewayspace! There have been a few g506 chassis' though they have been on the East Coast

The M135 has been brought out of hibernation and is progressing well!

It seems Anthony was the go-to for the bigger hoists when the other companies where backordered. I would not be the least surprised that they were also found on 'Binders!

I re-sealed/ rebuilt 2 Hercules cylinders, they had the pump and valve built into the oil manifold.

Is this similar where it recirculates the oil from the rod end to the head end? Or does it require a separate pump?

The pump PTO shaft on the G506's were 7/8 shaft diameter and the pump shaft was Port side front facing.

Is the pump set up like that?

Coincidentally, I scrounged up a M-5H-6...

Like that self contained..no separate pump and/or reservoir

Sounds about right on the shaft size...will have to check.

You picked up the one that was just "down the street" from your Grandmother's house?

Naw, that one disappeared and then showed up at another dairy.

It has since disappeared again...maybe to a different dairy. The property was sold and another 850 houses are supposed to be built.

This one came from the Nuevo, CA area. Some friends in the MVCC club helped me get it.

The M-5H-6/ G-651 seems to be a long wheelbase with the rear pintlehook area cut out and a triangular "push" bumper welded on it to push it out of spots it got stuck while in service as a Jobsites water truck.

Looks pretty decent for being 75 years old. The PTO for the winch is probably turned 180 degrees to power a chain to pulley to water pump for spraying.

Still learning about this new Corn binder

Hey, you putting a diesel in your M-135? The valve cover looks like individual covers for the valve train.

Must be Brad Pitt's development company...afterall we don't need cows but more people.... :( :( :x

Very cool on the Binder! I look forward to another well documented restoration saga...who knows maybe you could spur the interest of others and more Internationals will be saved!

Yes the M135 is getting a Cummins 6BTA, Eaton FSO-6406A and disc brakes...quite the long term project!

Hey Gentry,

I got that water tank off the M-5H-6, the frame rails are 34 inches wide post to starboard.

How wide is that box?
