TRUCK< GASOLINE TANK 2-12 TON 6X4 1350 GAL CCW
TRUCK-GASOLINE TANK 2-1/2 TON 6X6 750 GAL
TRUCK 2-1/2 TON 6X6 F-3 AIRFIELD REFUELING 750 GAL

These trucks had a Static Chain atached to the chassis and dragged on the ground. If one was careful it could be heard jingling.

All these little every day WII MV details so familiar to so many GI's are slowly becoming lost in time.

You still earn one "attaboy" for your interest.

What's good for your JEEP is good for you (sometimes). Where is Castor Oil used in your Jeep?

Hey Frank, gotta question for ya! Just how many ATTA-BOYS do you have saved!?? In my line of work, just one "OH Shoot" wipes out twenty-one atta-boys... Now I know that that is an unreasonably high number to wipe out, but you don't know the crowd I run with. I'm constantly trying to keep my "atta-boy account" in the black, but it's hard work man!! :)

My Dad used it in the gas tank of his vehicles, sure made for a sweet smelling exhaust. Cheaper than the old Bardahl upper end lube that may still be on the market in some places

Castor Oil is one of the ingredients to old time hydraulic brake fluid such as the DOT #3 that has been so common on vehicles since at least the 20's.

Hey Frank, I did some supply duty from time to time when I was in the Corps. On occasion my pencil wasn't always very sharp and my vision was a bit blurry too. I remember squirreling away several "EXTRA" boxes of ATTA-BOYS and sometimes they get underfoot here at the MoT RepDep. So I'm gonna send you one, but you gotta keep it quiet. Okay? Hopefully the contents of said box will help ease the feelings and memories of mistreatment from the 70's a bit. Whaddya say brother? :)
