Re: WTB Halftrack Track Guides
Dose anyone out there have a used track that can take off 34 track guides to help me out? The guides need to have a straight top edge. Please let me know.

Re: WTB Halftrack Track Guides
I have two complete broken tracks set (attached). Its a shame, as the Goodyear logo isn't even worn and they snapped from age during track recovery.
It would obviously take some effort to recover the guides...

Dear Greg,
Do you still need some HalfTrack track guides or has someone already been able to help you source what you need ?
If you are still looking for these, can you please confirm if you need 25 or 34 pieces.
Sincerely yours, Dave Pojta, (Liberty Engineering services - UK).

Re: WTB Halftrack Track Guides
Thak you for the reply about the track guides. I'm still looking for used 34 guides. The reason for used guides are I have a set of tracks that have heavily rusted guides. The tracks have about 95% per cent rubber. Not sure why the guides got so rusted. It may have been a halftrack that set outside to show as a static display. Anyway, I got track guides saved up to replace the rusted ones and found out I have two guide designs. One has a straight top and the other is a saddle design. I'm looking to keep cost down on this replacement. I took all my guides off with a battery pack 1/2-inch impacted gun. Little work and not much of a chore. Wish I live closer to W. Winget. If anyone out there has worn or broken track, please help the guy up in Montana.
Greg

Re: WTB Halftrack Track Guides
Dear Greg,
If it helps you, I can confirm that I have 34 pieces NOS ORIGINAL WW2 HalfTrack track guide in stock. As you can see from the images they have surface rust due to previous unkind and disrespectful storage. They are genuinely unused, (although I understand that for some reason you prefer used guides).
The price is £15.00 (GBP) each piece less a 10% discount for a quantity purchase. Therefore the price would be £510.00 (GBP) - 10 % = £459.00 (GBP) for 34 pieces.
This is a mail order price and takes into account my time and materials in securely packing what would be a heavy load for long distance shipping from the UK. Most likely I would have to construct a small crate if you wished to go ahead with the purchase.
Actual shipping cost would be charged in addition to the above quoted price as well as an unavoidable bank fee of just £8.50 (GBP) to send your remittance by way of EWT, (Electronic Wire Transfer - also known as a bank transfer), which is the only way in which my overseas customers can make a payment to me.
I hope this helps some.
(If you wish to contact me off the 'G' I can be reached at :- David@LibertyEngineeringServices.com).
Sincerely yours, Dave Pojta.
