Adjusted the brake push rod out until there is about a 1/4 inch free play and that seems to have resolved the issue for now. Thanks guys for all chiming in with info.wouldn’t run it without a booster to many idiots around here on the road.

What is the number of a new brake booster that will work, and is available?

Call Scott at Brake Materials and Parts. He can probably match a type C or newer style to the weight and types of brakes on a halftrack. He also has rebuilt many halftrack hydravacs. His does superior work.

I’m running a cardone 51-You have to find one to get rebuilt cardone doesn’t have any for sale but will rebuild

Which Cardone 51? There is a dash and them 4 or 5 numbers.
