TL-122B flashlight and vehicle holder FS

Post by John Neuenburg » Wed Feb 17, 2021 4:42 pm

Does your vehicle have a full set of these? I have a TL-122B flashlight and a vehicle flashlight holder for sale. Light is a little scruffy and needs some work to operate but would fill out a holder or a mannequin nicely. The holder or the steel it was made from got some rust pits before galvanizing. Most pits are on the reverse so not visible when screwed or welded onto the vehicle. There are some small pits on the spring clips. I call these spring clips but don't think these are spring steel. The clips are over twice the thickness of the belt clip on the flashlight. Heavy duty. I don't know if all or some of these mounts were galvanized.

There is green stuff on the switch that comes off if scraped

Here is a spare clip I'd throw in:

The bracket is back for sale. The man who bought light and bracket said it is not the same as what he has on his halftrack. If true for all tracks does anyone know where these were used? It is stout enough to be able to hold something heavier than a G.I. flashlight, although it fits those. It could carry a long Maglite or maybe a Ground Signal Projector. $42 free shipping.

The brackets for the flash lights in my track are longer, have one spring clip and a cup type affair for the bottom of the light to sit in.
Ford GPW 6008, in slow process of restoration.
