Any source for the M1A1 Antitank Mines
Anyone know of a source for the WWII M1A1 Anti tank Mines as carried in the Mine Racks on Halftracks?

Re: Any source for the M1A1 Antitank Mines
I bought one just to get a good look at it. It's very well made, and IMHO, worth having. The major fault, if it can be called that, is that this reproduction is an empty can and thus, rather lightweight. The result of that is, these will bounce around in the mine racks. The solution is obvious but it could be a bit of a problem if someone called into question whether or not your mines were 'real'. Pressure plate outer ring is a very substantial, solid piece of metal.
And, since you're going to ask.. Height - 4 1/4" with pressure plate installed... 3 3/8" without the plate.
Cheers,
TJ

I got a couple from IMA for Christmas ("and what did Santa bring you, little boy?") and I found if you fill them with high explosives and a booster, the weight comes right up where it should be!

The originals used to be cheap, you could find them all the time at the swap meets. Not anymore!
