I'm pretty sure they have all the drawings for just about all the half-track armor over at halftrackinfo.com,I submitted all the rear armor myself so the doors should be easy!

There are drawings there, the only one I could find for doors actually includes a statement that they may be wrong and doesn't include any dimensions for the pistol port. If I can't get anything else I may have to go with those and try to work out the pistol port in the upper door. Thanks for getting back to me any info is good info.

I got my repro doors from "Halftrack" Paul and they fit perfect. He's up in Chicago (NOT Gary) and his contact # is 847-508-3634.

My understanding is that Paul is not doing anything at this time. Still looking though.

If you have a metal shop that can shear 1/4 plate it shouldn't be too hard to repro these, the big problem is that opening in the top flap. Ask around and see if there is someone with a water jet cutter, that would leave a much cleaner edge and cutting the pistol port would be much easier! I can get measurements if you can find someone to cut them

i have someone that can manufacter them if I can get the correct measurements. I have a rough estimate for the opening of 4 inch by 8 inch but don't know if these are correct. I also don't know the radius of the corners in the pistol port or the angle the pistol port is at. I got some drawings off of another halftrack site but there was a warning posted with the drawings that the dimensions might not be correct. thanks.

The drawings are not wrong and never were. They were misunderstood since they were drawn as 'universal' for use on either side of the halftrack. Like the side armor, the doors are identical on each side in reference to all the holes, it's the countersinking of the holes that determine which side the pieces are to be installed. PM me with your e-mail address and I can send you the drawings for the upper and lower doors.

I went over the drawings for the doors again and something is wrong. On the two drawings for the upper door there are two measurements for holes taken from the flat vertical side of the door, one is 22.125 inches to the center of a hole and the other is 24.25 inches to the center of a hole. Both of these holes appear to be before the angle of the front part of the door. However the other drawing lists the overall outside dimension of the top of the door as only 21.75 inches. It doesn't seem like they both can be right.

The specific locations represented in the drawings are not to scale but the dimensions are correct. The two holes that you're talking about ARE forward of the 21.75" dimension even though they're shown as behind it in the drawing. Quirky, I know, but it works.
