Have you talked with Landis over at Zimmerman Cletrac?

Dunno if he has any WXLC-3 stuff but he did have some DOOC stuff last I check and that was un-expected...

Just a thought - otherwise there are plenty of companies making new manufacture pistons and piston rings for custom application or racing stuff - don't have any I have worked with directly but they are out there

I think he had the pistons, but no rings. I have talked to, or tried to, some custom makers. No interest at all. Won't even give an estimate, just not interested at all. Landis was great to talk to, had a good time discussing the WXLC3 and the WX series in general, learned quite a bit.
I know there is still stuff out there, just not like it used to be. Ebay is a bust!!!!!!
Just going to take a while to find. That's fine, it'll take me a while to figure out how to remove the silly thing anyway and then save up for the machine work.
Still crazy after all these years.
The OD bug bit me in 1970......and I have never been the same

Yep - I'd be curious if you do find some as I have 3 of them...

My big shortage at the moment is viable carb stuff

Is this long term hold for halftrack tracks also? Or just Cletrac tracks?

Sorry to hear that. I was hoping for a new track source.

I wouldn't expect the rubber tracks perform too well on an icy Maine tarmac?

They made ice grousers for them too but I have never seen one - only pictures in the parts book

The rated top speed is 22MPH, they looked as if they were going faster when they were coming and going from the Main Gate.
