Thanks for the compliment.
The storage compartment lids are on now. I started working on fixing the troop compartment armor panels but have not finished them before fall/winter. I have been working on some smaller items over the winter. I will try to post some pics soon.

Here's some of the light knobs that I refinished. Also, the fuel filter and shut off located behind the drivers seat. Anyone else have this set up?

I took the halftrack out for it's first shake down. There's still lots to do. https://youtu.be/Izs7K5eFbWQ

The longer ones are on my phone, just have to figure out how to get them off there to here. I have some adjustments to make and will post some better ones :). I hope to get it out a couple more times before the snow falls.

The half-track is a cool vehicle. I'm always impressed by you guys that undertake restoration of something so, well, BIG. Here's a newb question - what's the big roller on the front for?

Birm Roller/unditching roller.

Upon entering a ditch the roller prevents the front of the vehicle digging-in to the opposite face of the ditch, instead the roller acting as a wide wheel enabling the front to climb out of the ditch more easily.

It was one of the army’s good-bad ideas. By the end of the war most Halftracks were built with winches.

The back panels are finally patched up. They'll need a liitle touch up before final paint.
