M4 high speed tractor info and questions

i came across a few sites with hst for sale. has anyone ever seen one of these in california (or close) in any shape?

Not sure if its a M4 or M5 but there is 1 in Santa Barbara area

the biggest problemwith M4s is just what your looking at. there striped,
nothing left but the hull and tracks.
and no one has the military parts becouse it was all scraped.
and good luck finding a box.

C.A. Tarr in Augusta Maine was one of the largest dealers in Surplus M-4 and M-6, they went out of business in the 70's and SECO bought up the inventory. A lot of highway contractors used these to haul sheepsfoot rollers and some can be still found parked in the back 40.

Just imagine owning the the larger M-6 with two Waukeshas instead of one and Cooling System Capacities of 72 Qt. Each. These are one big machine to work on.

Steve, I emailed them last week, they have a lot of M4s, but they are all missing their engines and ammo boxes. They also have a fairly complete, 90% or so, M5A4 HST.

like ben mentioned the m6 is a beast. are there any around ?

I think I am more interested in a M4. There is at least one M4 in the area, maybe a couple more and maybe a M5.

I bet theres not 5 boxes left on the planet.
I'm assuming Fort Sill got the ADA one.
and the Nebraska outfit says thay have one, but thay didnt have it mounted.
any others in the US?
of course the Israilie one.
and a couple in europe?
I also herd mullens was looking for one. and if he cant find one then theres nun to be found.
