Thanks for posting.
It's a great early picture. It's interesting to see the steering column is black, the dash screws aren't painted and the headlight switch in the floor. Also, the heater installed.

Trying to determine the tranny paint color. I'd go with green rather than grey. Any thoughts?

I think you are right, You can see the engine is more shiny and looks like oil/water on parking brake part is a flat color or the painter got sloppy,
The color he is painting looks darker then the rest of the body and frame.

Hey Clint,
My trans was green but it had been through a rebuild. The same for my engine, but on the engine you can see the gray under the green.

He may have painted the whole shaft, and it's wet paint :wink:
Edit: on second look I think the fresh paint is indicated on the square housing cover atop the transmission, it looks like he's painting the heater :?: (can) tiedown nuts and anything "shinny" where wrenches have turned things, not the shifter sticks, the brush is behind those perspective wise.
