How much acid in a 6v battery

Post by David V » Wed Mar 09, 2022 12:17 pm

I need to buy a new battery for my WLA but they're all delivered without acid.
How much acid do I need to fill a battery ?

Just enough to cover the plates. Charging will heat the acid and it will expand.

You should be able to purchase enough acid when you purchase the battery.

Use a dry cell battery.

Yeah well since Feb 2021 it's become increasingly difficult to buy battery acid anywhere in France because it can't be sold to non-professionals.
I want to buy a battery online which will be delivered empty. I can even order the acid online on some sites but I wanted to know the volume needed and my memory is a lot.

Actually I switched to an anti-gravity battery last year thinking it would last for ever (that was the promise) but a year later it's dead. And so expensive to replace so I'm thinking of going back to OEM.

I don't know how I f**ked up the anti-gravity battery.
