Hi,
I have been told that this is a military motorcycle seat but as of yet I have not been able to identify it. So it may or may not be military - I'm hoping someone any recognise it and be able to tell me what it is!
Thanks Mark

Re: Seat identification
Hi Hummermark!
This is a driver's saddle from a Russian Izh 56 motorcycle.
version for "long tank".
Someone changed them a little and cut off pieces of metal plates in the base.
This is not a saddle from a military motorcycle. They were produced between 1955 and 56 for a touring motorcycle which was the 56 model.
If you need detailed photos or data from the catalog, write me.
Best regards
Tomasz
