I would like to run it sometimes if I can find one, but I will be riding it a lot and anythinig to be seen by crazy drivers is a good thing so having a full light will be a plus

Another package in the mail today, this one from Poland! I got all my cables throttle, timer, front brake, and hand clutch (bracket/hardware will be parkerized later).

I do have a question if anyone can help. the last few pics are of a bracket I got with the bike and I am not sure what it goes to. The guy said it was a sidecar bracket but he also said the cast jiffystand body was for a sidecar so he didn't know to much about the bike. the only numbers I see are on the inside T/34/5

Few more parts came in the mail on Thursday and couldn't wait to get working on them... scored a front crash bar, toolbox lid and brake/ clutch bars, BUT my best score by far was this 39-42 dash! And I got it just the way I like it, cheap and needing work! Had a few dents, was a little out of round in the gauge area and someone had put some old switches on each side. After a couple hours of smacking it around and welding up the holes, its ready to be blasted and primed.

Is the tool box lock welded to the body or soldered to it?

The cover looks to be reproduction as the original lock body sit more below the surface and is soldier to the lid
I don't see any soldering or is gone and if gone the lock will be loose.

The dash can be dechromed by a plating shop as this is what I did to mine also is the switch hole enlarged? Some of the very early switches were larger in diameter and the dash covers are also.

hummm I'll try and compare the lid to another when I get a chance... was hoping I scored but at least it was only $45 if not.

Blasted a few things today and sprayed some quick primer... Also realized that the bushing on my rocker clutch was shot so I had my buddy machine me up one quick and press it in. Then I tried putting my dash on for a test fit and realized the the center studs are missing for the plate so those will have to be ordered.... lol I have most of the big parts to this bike but I'm learning that a bunch of small part orders are in my future.

POST 1 OF 3 lots of pics

Hey guys! Hope everyone is safe out there. I've been MIA, had rotaor cuff surgery Jan 10th so I was out of action till about 2 weeks ago until I couldn't stand sitting around anymore. Oh and Also the little woman and I are expecting our baby girl to be born any time now! (due April 10th).

I have been collecting small parts off and on but I really wanted to start getting busy again while I had the time so first up was paint! I got a large majority done which gave me the ability to lace my wheels (the little woman got me spokes for xmas) and assemble my head bearings

POST 2/3 today

This week has been fenders! Started by getting at the rear fender because it needed the most help. I popped off a few rivets to take the hinge and main brace off to patched all the holes. On day 2 I was happy with the metal work and re-riveted the fender back together and today attacked the front. Not as much work needed on the front fender the worse part by far was where it mounted to the fork, but it also had a bunch of random holes to fill
