did anyone ever make repop bar grip tires for the airborne?

Nope. Nobody did. The only company that did work on cushman tires was Coker. And I think i heard the family sold the business and the new owners are not interested in small run specialty tires.

Sad because I think they would sell at least one or 2 to every Cushman 53 and 53A owner.

I know I would buy 2 maybe even 3.

I chatted with Ed, at Ed's Cushman several weeks ago and he was sure there was an effort still ongoing to get this project off the ground. I would take two myself...

There was a guy in the Czech republic working on it, but not heard anything for 6 months now. Also emailed another company in the UK, but never had a reply, will email him again, and see ih he answers, otherwise I'll try phoning.
