Re: Bicycle collection
Johan, unfortunately no. The unit markings on the rear fender are those of my unit when I was in the service. I usually paint this on if I can't find any original markings to the item.
Thanks, Bob

Re: Bicycle collection
Hello Jean, thanks. That kick stand for the Huffman is certainly a different breed. You don't see them pop up that often. I don't have any extras at the present.
Keep looking my friend.

Re: Bicycle collection
Thank you Red Cross184,
The G519 Columbia and Huffman have been updated with more original parts added since the photos was taken. Pretty much 100% correct now. Will post pictures when I have a chance.

Re: Bicycle collection
Love these bikes but had to draw a line with regard to collecting things (I have 3 Harley WLAs). What caught my attention here is discussion of air pumps. Can't see them clearly in your pictures. I am familiar with the WLA air pumps but for years have had 2 others I never been able to identify. Both are all original, have military OD paint, were said to be vintage WWII. One unidentified pump is very similar to the late / long WLA air pump in many respects including length (16+ inches) but has subtle differences including a different style pump handle (bigger) and different thread pitch for the air hose to screw into pump body. Now, pictures attached to my message here are the second smaller air pump which interestingly has the same thread pitch for the air hose as the other longer unidentified one (not pictured). It's only 12 inches long though the pics show it next to a metric yard stick. It has a unique grooved pump handle but only identification marks I can see are "MPC Made in England" on the metal near the air hose nozzle. Could the pump pictured be for a WWII military bicycle? Don't want to hijack the thread topic here so maybe I will start a new one elsewhere if this pic is NOT a bicycle air pump. Thanks

Re: Bicycle collection
Hi Eric, I don't believe this "made in England" pump was ever used on the US G519 bikes. I have one on my BSA bicycle. The US bikes used a Bridgeport #12 if my memory serves me right. Best to start another thread. Bob

Re: Bicycle collection
does anyone out there have one of these pumps for sale? I need one just like that. Or what is the make and model number of that pump?
