Bike Showcase at Camp Plymouth Swap Meet & MV Show in CA April 2023

The largest annual historic military vehicle event in the Western U.S. happens every April. The venue since 2019 has been in Plymouth, California, heart of the old west Gold Country. We feature two or three MV showcases. One will be military motorcycles, sidecar rigs, bicycles, and scooters. Exact day not decided yet but bikes could be displayed all days in peoples' campsites. Likely location is in the 49er Village RV Resort for several hours at least. Those familar with these meets know that many people arrive Tuesday, certainly by Wednesday, and stay through Saturday. Sunday is a pull-out day, not a show day.

I'd like to know who is interested to bring one or more military two-wheelers to this event. This is not for converted civilian units. There will be a People's Choice judging for their favorite machine. If we find a money sponsor, that will create money prizes.

Here are updated flyers for the event in general and the bike showcase. Main change to content is a line clarifying the event is open to the public. And the event flyer/ad shows the new artwork which is the art that will be on the official T-shirts and other merchandise on sale Thursday-Saturday at the MVCC (promoters) HQ tent near the 49er Village entrance.

By the way, the discounted prices in the RV Village for our group block will be good for three days before and after the event. Some like to arrive early or stay late to check out other tourist sites in the region. For example there is a great drive or ride from Plymouth to Hwy 88, then up and over the summit, where you can end up at South Lake Tahoe. Then take US 50 west and cut south to Plymouth a couple different ways. And locally, there are dozens of wineries just outside Plymouth, and historic Gold Rush sites and towns up and down Hwy 49.
