GPA value

Post by Donovan » Tue May 10, 2022 10:02 am

I am trying to update my insurance coverage on my GPA and trying to see if there have been any recents sales (last 2 years) that anyone would know about. A link to the site where the sale occurred would be very helpful. I checked recently and nothing really came up!
Thank you,
Donovan.

there is a GPA for sale on David Urigs site where I think he sells vehicles on consignment. Asking price is $150,000. I do not know the name of the site. When Chet Krause auctioned off all his vehicles a number of years back, his professionally restored GPA went for $164,000. That was in the early 2000s I believe.

Hello Donovan,

It must be great to own a GPA !!

Here are some links that might help estimate an insured value.

On this one, the price being asked is way up there, but watch the video and you can get a good idea of valuation for insurance purposes.

Based on what I have found and in agreement with insurance carrier, current price for a restored GPA in excellent condition with original motor and drive train is about 200-225K. However, you have to have a buyer to substantiate that value and there have been no recent sales of a GPA that I know of or anyone has conveyed to me! Like any military vehicle, what is wanted versus what is actually paid for a vehicle can be quite different!
FWIW,
Donovan.
