DUKW Propeller
Any idea on how much a DUKW prop is worth ? It's in excellent condition, probably NOS.

Re: DUKW Propeller
I can buy a 4 blade boston ducks prop for 800 euro.
Not sure if this helps.

Re: DUKW Propeller
Not in the market for one, and NOS doesn't mean it didn't go through a rebuild program which makes the props look like new anyway...so NOS is a moot point in one manner.
If I were to want a 'spare' for my DUKW I'd say $200.
Might sound low, but then my DUKW isn't swimming yet and won't be for a long time, and chances of losing or damaging my mounted prop are dismally low...
That and being around a port where extensive shipyard work is done, I'd likely incur a cost of several hundred for a 'repair/rebuild/balance job' from a local shop.
For someone that has a restoration on-going and a need, the price would likely go up. But as stated, the Boston DUKWs are using an improved 4 blade prop, so that might be a nice way to upgrade any operational DUKW without a significant historical detraction of the vehicle (Museums need originals for static display...)
So just some considerations, you can always bring it to Hagerstown MD. in May?
