Looking for a good quality Radiator - recommendations requested
Guys,
Looking for a good quality Radiator. I finally need to replace mine in my 48 CJ2A after 36 years since it was refurbished!
Wondering if the aluminum radiators on Ebay are any good, or can you recommend a good one. Just don't want to put crap in there, but don't need to break the bank either.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Brent

If there are any good ones, they will be found either here at RFJP or at Walck’s4WD.com. Good stuff is getting harder to find, but Ron and Carl endeavor to stock the best available.
The aluminum radiators, from what I’ve seen, mostly work well but look bad. Sometimes they need som tweaking to make them fit and work, which means finding someone who can weld aluminum. I know it hurts, but I would give the extra for the stock-appearing radiator. But then “stock appearing” is important to me.
I see Carl is “out of stock”.

OEM M-38 radiator is a good choice and everything fits.

To all,
As of the date of this reply, Ron has them in stock.
Contact him if you still are of in need of a MB CJ radiator.

I got an e-mail notice today that Carl Walck has reproduction radiators in stock.
I too, have no interest in this, other than trying to help.

All my parts come from Ron Fitzpatrick; he has the best quality. I do not buy from, nor recommend, anyone else. After all, he is the one paying for this site; which ain't free in case you have not priced web sites lately.
