CJ 6 Identification & Restoration

Attaching the photos of my CJ6 and would request members to
1) Confirm that it is a CJ6
2) ID the wrong modifications such as the Steering etc.

That's a nice jeep! I see several Mahindra components. I'm not familiar enough with either the CJ-6 or Mahindra jeeps to speculate how this jeep should be categorized.

The made in USA 50's CJ-6 was simply a Domestic CJ-5 with 20" added to it's body,frame, wheelbase, and Rear Propeller ShaftCJ-6 had a 101" Wheelbase. The location of the extra 20" was just behind the front seats.
The features on the subject Jeep are simply a Mahindra version.
