What is the mfg of the taillight buckets…. MISSING.
What about the reflector bezels? …CORCORAN BROWN NO. 100.
1) Check to see if the reflectors have the bolt HEADS inside the tub….. YES
2) See if they have any lead washers on them…. YES
Taillight Mounts: Standard "L" brackets bolted to the tub. YES



Numbers: Look on the top or sides of the drawbars: NONE


Bolts: AA, EC and A mixture

Unit Numbers: NONE


If you can give me a guesstimate on the USA # it would be appreciated.

Don't think Chuck puts his work online in a simple PDF or other form (database) just like the G503 (estimated) serial number DoD production date etc. database.

I've gathered a few ACM - serial - mfg. date - USA number combinations.

Would be nice to have all known trailers in a database.

I would like to add your trailers to my data base, so if you can send me all the info on each one and maybe a pic of the ACM number and the Data Plate and maybe even a partial USA number, that will add to my data base and make estimating the info some guys are missing that much more precise.

While I do have a lot of trailers listed, not that many have the data plate, ACM number and USA number so much of them are estimates. I sometimes have the data plate and ACM, sometimes the data plate only, sometimes the ACM only...but when compared to other examples in my data base it is possible to estimate the missing info for a given trailer.

There is no online site, no "estimator" for the G529s missing data and the bottom line is that after seeing how crazy the G503 Serial Number List has gotten, I don't want what I have done to become estimates based upon estimates. Unless you know much about the GPW or MB, you may never know if what someone has posted is the REAL data plate info or the real USA number or even if their post is based on the frame number or the motor number (GPWs) or in the MB situation, if the frame tag is original or the data plate info is based on the tub number or what...

As I get more guys to send me their trailer info, I can add to the data base and IMPROVE estimates from months or years previously. That is why I always tell guys to check back with me as they approach the completion of their trailer restoration be because it is always possible I have received another trailer or two that can cause me to revise an earlier estimate.

Generally speaking, most guys who have only the ACM number and the answers to this list of answers to even tell a Bantam from an MBT or a GEMCO or anything else are very happy to have the estimates of the missing data plate info and USA number that I can provide.

4) cotter pin with casher
5) cast center section
6) 8 spring type Willys
7) no light
no tailight mount
9) none round
10) not visible
11) none round

That S mark on the hook seems to appears on both Willys and Bantam trailers both early and later. Wonder if it's a contracted manufacturer company's trade mark ?

Hello Chuck. There are few year. You said me that my Bantam is an early november 42 but not the day. After lot of research I finded this Day on offcial document of French Domaines. It's 28-11-42, is it possible to receive the USA number ? The fotos are page 10
