How To Identify a WWII MBT or Bantam 1/4 Ton Trailer

Chuck, I recently purchased a 1/4T trailer and hoping you can help me determine what I have.
It is missing the data plate, back panel, tailights and reflectors. So no USA number or SN#.
The ACM number under the spring hanger is: 79155. No "W" or "B" found.
The axle tube is welded in the center and the upper shock mounts are bolted and uses a nut to secure shock while lower mount uses cotter pins to secure shock.
Springs are 8 leaf flat types with clip closure on the bottom.
Looks like the taillight mounts were bolted on, but are missing.
No numbers on draw bar or frame by handbrake.
I found no markings on fender or trailer bolt heads.

Mine has no data plate, after media blasting to bare metal, i see no holes where one would have been attached. Number stamped in left side frame rail, forward of front spring hanger is ☆7033☆, any idea who made it & when? Thanks guys.

2)Not found , paint scheme was French army
3) ACM Number: no acm number
4) Upper Shock Mount: cotter-pin type? Is it BOLTED to the frame? LOWER shock mount is cotter-pin type?
5) The axel is a straight tube, with a welded seam in the middle
6) Springs: How many leaves in the springs? Eight , Flattened "U" shape bolts on top
7) Til lights not present
Taillight Mounts: Standard "L" brackets bolted to the tub .
9) Numbers: Stamped in Tub/frame side righthand side in frame BANTAM T3 64964
10) Bolts:most all flat without marking found few AA and 2 EC marked
11) Unit Numbers:not found

For PB40:
While it would appear you have a Bantam, without the ACM number off the left front spring hanger, there is no clue to the missing data except to note it isn't an EARLY Bantam.

I saw the "WO A 3977 PWD" stamping but I did not see the "BANTAM T3 64964" marking you mentioned.
Where exactly was that stamped?
Did it have the four holes for the data plate?

Again, the ACM number is like your G-529 DNA.....it tells a LOT about the trailer!

Sorry Chuck, but look the rivets on front bar !!! They are no holes.
It look like a Luther Jordan not US frame and body

I saw on body not the same stamped line than US body, they don’t go to the top of the body on right and left panel.

Dave....

Please confirm the following.
1) the upper shock mount is RIVETED or BOLTED to the frame?
2) the upper shock mounting pin is threaded or drilled for a cotter pin. You must remove the shock to see if the pin has threads on it and the hole for the cotter pin was drilled later.
3) Willys stopped production of the MBT in March 1944. At that time, ACM was delivering tub assemblies with an ACM number in the 1038xx range so yours is NOT a Willys MBT.
4) email me the ACM picture as well as the 229th rebuild plate.
5) where do you and the trailer live? City/State/Country?
