'43 Willys Trailer value

Post by JOC6 » Fri Oct 07, 2022 6:43 am

I recently pickup a 1943 Willys trailer and was wondering the value of the trailer. I was looking for a m100 or m416, but found this one. I have a guy wanting to trade me a m416 thats refurbished. I just wanted to know if its a square deal. Thank you

It's just my opinion, but, based on these pics, if the M416 has been restored and is correct, I would take that trade in a minute. Yes, the MBT is the rarer of the two, but you have incorrect lunette, no casting, no landing let and swivel, no electrical, incorrect tail lights. So when they are both in perfect condition the MBT is worth a little more, but not in it's present state.

You also have no rear panel, a bubba replacement floor, and a very poor body.

If the guy wants to swap and you want an M416, you should take the deal. The best thing about your MBT is the data plate.
