Hello, I just picked up an M100 project so I figured I would stop in for some information and tips.
I bought one before, but it turned out to be too much of a project, so I sold it even before I started. This one seems pretty solid, so I plan to have a go at it.
A previous owner cut off the lunette, but I cant afford to replace it right now, so Im not sure what Im going to do up front.
They also cut in a tailgate. They didnt put any hinges on or anything, so I think Ill reinforce it and put some hinges on. At this point its probably better than trying to weld it back in.
It looks pretty good underneath. Ill probably just sandblast and paint the entire tub without taking too much apart.
I havent figured out what to do about the wheels and tires yet. These are pretty rough. I might try to find a set to match my Jeep, but then im dealing with replacing the hubs or wheel spacers.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks
