I am refurbishing an original Bakelite Trailer plug and I am having to drill out the nuts and bolts because they are frozen even after using Kroil and PB Blaster. Does anyone know what the actual length and threading are of the various nuts and bolts that are original to it? I checked JeepDraw but have not found anything. I also checked the C+PONS Jeep Bolting list and nothing there either.
I need to source the various nuts and bolts obviously to put it back together.

I believe they are #8-32 stove bolts but the length I do not know. If it helps they are threaded all the way so getting them too long would be best and then cut to length.

Have you found any Rodney. I've got two plugs I'm cleaning up but like you I've had to drill or cut the bolts out.

Yes I got them at Home Depot. They have a combination end (mostly flathead but a slat for use with a Phillips but if that is all the jeep police can find I don't care. Part numbers are crown bolt stainless machine screws 44991 and 801541. I also picked up 6-32 X 3/4 in part number 814151. I can't remember why but may remember when I start putting it back together.

Manual says #6-32-1 3/4", 2 Each with 2 Ea. Internal washers and the Hex Nuts.
