Robb....

What is the ACM number on it? If you send me the answers to the "How To ID..." sticky above, perhaps we can learn more about this trailer's pedigree.

US Army issue that were transfered to the Swiss.
Many had Swiss replacement parts, fenders, Lunettes, Wheels, etc. mine cleaned up pretty good and got a chance to use a pair of NOS fenders, Harness and NOS Goodies that I had saved odd 30 years for the day I owned a WWII trailer.

...and like Joel's, most were in pretty good to very good condition with no rust-through in the floors or front panels. While the Swiss did remove the data plates unfortunately and no USA numbers are to be found....the ACM number makes it possible to arrive at a fairly good estimate of the missing data on most of them.

If you have one with nothing but the ACM number, you can send me the info/pics requested in the "How To Identify" sticky in this Forum and I can work up something for you so a replacement data plate and USA number that are in sync with the ACM number and each other.

MBT/BT3 Trailers are more scarce than JEEPs. There is no shortage .of friendly technical advice.
Did you know that the Army had a late war TM (TM9-855) in the making for the WWII JEEP trailer that was not printed ?
Note that some Swiss Army MBT Trailers had replacement fenders that were slightly different at the ends.
